9,380 Bq/Kg of Cs-134/137 measured from ash of a household in Fukushima city

According to the radiation test of household grocery by Fukushima city government, 9,380 Bq/Kg of cesium was measured from ash for removal of astringent taste.

The measurement was done from 1/4 ~ 1/31/2013.

On 1/20/2013, Fukushima Diary reported 40,700 Bq/Kg was measured from ash of a household too. [URL 1]

Selon le contrôle de radioactivité des provisions domestiques effectué par la municipalité de Fukushima, 9 380 Bq/kg de césium ont été relevés dans des cendres servant à retirer le goût astringent.

Les relevés ont été effectués entre le 4 et le 31 janvier 2013.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
