Same as my aunt in law. She had ner neck swolen and had thyroid cancer and surgery after chernobyl. She was living in germany.
I am not sure how long a person can wait until getting a surgery when the thyroid is swolen.
Not long. If it spreads, then you have the throat and structures involved and the lymph nodes going to the brain. So getting to the doctors for a thyroid test(ultrasound to start with ) is standard procedure for ANY doctor to do. IF they dont want to do a test, have them sign they note the swelling and that it is not cancer. Get UGLY, its your life. You can not sit back. If there is any place that does ultrasound pregancy photos..have them do your throat–might be a little cost, but would give you ammo to take to the doctors. I think its got to be forced to make them do their job..since they are likely kept under the government control. Or visit USA or ? for medical diagnosis.
it’s cheaper to go to korea get tests done.
