Fallout still reaches beyond Tokyo

Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology released the latest report of fallout level by prefecture.

It is to show the fallout level in August. 2012. (MBq/km2・month)

It shows fallout still keeps coming from Fukushima to Iwate, Tokyo, Aichi and many other prefectures.

In Tokyo, 4.3 MBq/km2・month of Cs-134 fell, 6.2 MBq/km2・month of Cs-137 fell in August.

 

文部科学省は県ごとの放射性物質の降下の最新報告を公開しました。2012年8月の放射性物質の降下をMBq/km2・monthで示しています。

福島からの放射性物質は岩手、東京、愛知などの多くの県に降下していることが明らかになりました。

8月の東京のデータは、セシウム134が4.3MBq/km2・month、セシウム137が6.2MBq/km2・monthでした。

Il y a toujours des retombées sur Tokyo

Le ministère de l’Éducation, de la Culture, des Sports, de la Science et des Technologies (le MEXT) a publié son dernier rapport sur le niveau de retombées par préfecture.

Il donne le niveau des retombées pour août 2012. (MBq/km²/mois)

Il montre qu’il y a toujours des retombées de Fukushima sur Iwate, Tokyo, Aichi et beaucoup d’autres préfectures.

A Tokyo et pour le mois d’août, 4,3 MBq de Cs-134 sont tombés par
km² et 6,2 MBq/km²/mois pour le Cs-137.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
