All of the 52 elementary schools in Fukushima held sports festival on 5/12/2012 on the assumption that radiation was removed by decontamination.
They cancelled it or held it in gymnasium last year.
They shortened the time and made students wear masks when they touch the ground.

I try to say good things about the Japanese people, but I think at this point it’s clear that the Fukushima disaster will be known throughout history as the worst crime against humanity, ever.
Cutest kids! If I was related to those kids, I would ship them out PRONTO!! I’m glad to see that they aren’t in a hospital bed yet…
The problem is that radiation WILL catch up with you. That’s how it works. The exposed kids around Chernobyl seemed fine, but then they took the brunt of it a few years down the road. And they didn’t just have fatigue or nosebleeds- they really got fatal cancer…as children.
…and the paper masks?? That doesn’t cut it–they should have respirators.
