25.36 μSv/h from the used car to export

25.36 μSv/h was measured from the used car to export from Kawasaki port, Kawasaki city Kanagawa announced. The car was taken back by the dealer. The dealer won the car in the auction of Tochigi prefecture.

The safety limit to export is 5μSv/h in Kawasaki city. Since last August, there have been 33 cars from being exported.

川崎市は22日、川崎港から輸出業者が海外に輸出しようとしていた中古の乗用車1台から毎時25.36マイクロシーベルトの放射線量が検出されたと発表した。車は業者が持ち帰った。

同市は毎時5マイクロシーベルト以上が検出された場合、輸出しないよう業者に要請。輸出が断られたのは昨年8月以降、今回で33台目。車は栃木県のオークションで競り落とされたものだったという。

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
