  1. Wow! 2 hours… that is just disturbing!

So correct me if I am wrong here they started that thing back up?

    1. They started up 1 or 2 reactors at ohi where a faultline runs right between the reactors and right now they’re operating at reduced power because they’re sucking up to many jellyfish, “probobly the really big ugly ones that like to hang around china. Jellyfish tend to “bloom” because it’s been studied that polluted water “phosphates, nitrates, fetilizers, houses, stuff” does something to initiate mass spawning in them and they really multiply.
      It’s been tested by labs.

        1. The jellyfish I’m thinking of is called the giant Nomura, so gross, but I don’t want them dead, mosquitos on the other hand…

  2. thank you!
this seems to be the only place we can get information
    about the fukushima disaster.
    keep up the good work!

  3. /breathing it…/nodules. fallout still produced from reactors/ burning contaminated debris/dust kicked up by wind, cars, ppl etc.

15,65 Bq/Kg de césium ont été mesurés dans une serviette de bain à Tokyo. La serviette était restée pendue dehors pendant deux heures à Setagaya.

  5. “Irradiating fuel produces not only plutonium 239, the type used in weapons, but also plutonium 238, 240, 241 and 242. Determining the ratio between the amounts of different isotopes created a “fingerprint” of the reactor that produced it.”

/also, remember when they said cesium around chernoble is not going down like it should…. half lives could be markedly wrong.

    1. So what I’m saying is everyone is playing fast and loose with everything and playing dumb with everything also, it is so easy to know what the most microscopic crap is made of, let alone the black dust, I’m confident all the contamination including black dust has been thoroughly analyzed. It’s really disrespectful /all the govt’s/corps/media’s actions and behaviour the world literally is better of without these “kinds” of people, they’ve proven themselves to be quite the problem.

  6. If this were a James Bond movie the people responsible for this would be either killed or imprisoned for a very long time.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
